Preceded in death by her mother Florence Dill nee Rodemich
JoAnn died from complications of a car accident. She is now free of her pain and suffering and in the arms of Jesus. She was the loving wife of Herb for over 53 years. She was an active member of St. Peter UCC - Red Bud, IL. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was very active in the Union School PTA in Belleville while her four children were growing up. She was a past President. She also helped start the first Junior High Booster Club when District 118 dropped sports and music back in the 1960s. She served as its first President. JoAnn will be missed by many but no one more than her husband who was by her side every inch of the way since her car accident. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. JoAnn lived a wonderful, full life. Special thanks to Pastor Graves for his many visits and prayers, and thanks to her five sisters-in-law, Rosie, Dottie, Diane, Shirley, and Irene, and brother Marv for all of the support they gave her during her final years. The family will never forget that.
