Aaron Stellhorn, 45, of Hecker, IL, died September 17, 2025, in Hecker, IL. He was born September 14, 1980, in Red Bud, IL.
He is survived by his parents Gerald and Christy (nee Busch) Stellhorn; brother Jeremy (Becky) Stellhorn; sister Natasha (Craig Heflin) Stellhorn; nephew Brody Stellhorn; grandmother Dorothy Busch; beloved dog Queen; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Gladys and Elmer Stellhorn, and Charles Busch; and uncles Douglas Busch and Roger Johnson.
Aaron spent his free time helping others by lending a hand to those in need, or simply being a source of joy and positivity. His loyalty to his family and friends was unmatched, and his bright smile was a constant reminder of his loving and gentle nature.
As a proud uncle, Aaron always enjoyed spending time with Brody and cheering him on in his activities. As a brother, he was part of a loving trio with Jeremy and Natasha. He loved spending time with Jeremy by working together on his resale business and having long conversations about anything and everything. Aaron knew how to have a sense of calm with Natasha and make her laugh with his dry wit and humble humor. He was a source of immense pride to his dad and mom. Aaron and his dad would spend endless hours together in the garage tinkering on their latest projects and talking about cars and life’s events. He loved being in the company of his mom and openly discussing whatever was on his mind at that moment as well as proudly talking about his beloved dog, Queen, who he shared an unbreakable bond with. His love for Queen was a reflection of his caring and nurturing spirit, and the two of them were inseparable. Aaron was a devout member of Hope Christian Church as well as a loved and respected employee of Dupo School District.
Though he has left us far too soon, Aaron's legacy of love and service will live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his kindness. We take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, embraced by the loving arms of his Savior, and reunited with those who have gone before him.
