Alice G. Newland

Alice G. Newland, nee Hern, 89, of Waterloo, IL, died August 18, 2022, in Columbia, IL. She was born February 27, 1933, in Fults, IL.

    She is survived by her brother Elliot Hern; stepson Larry (Donna) Newland Jr.; step-grandchildren; step-great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

    Alice is preceded in death by her husband Larry Newland Sr.; parents Henry J. & Louisa K. (nee Klamp) Hern; brothers Wilbert, Elmer, and Calvin Hern; sisters Alma Juelfs, Seta Easton, and Priscilla Bancroft; and 2 siblings in infancy.

    She attended New Life Church in Waterloo, IL, and she enjoyed square dancing, sewing, and gardening.
