Alvera Alberta Rodenberg, nee Goss, 90, of Waterloo, IL, died May 8, 2026, in St. Louis, MO. She was born August 16, 1935, in St. Louis, MO.

She is survived by son Craig Alan Rodenberg; sister Marian Goeddel; niece Stacy (Tim) McKenzy, Joanna Hoffman; nephew Alan (Delann) Senf and David Merl (Pat) Senf; cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Merl Theodore Rodenberg; parents Herbert and Amanda (nee Illert) Goss; brother LeRoy (Dottie) Goss; sister Darlene (Harold) Devenport, Jean (Victor) Fabish; and brother-in-law Roland Goeddel.

Alvera volunteered with the Monroe County Historical Society and was a member of the Card Crafters group. She loved cooking and sewing.
