Dear Stork Family,

I knew Ben for a short time during our SEMO days. We meet our freshman year and connected when we realized we shared the same birthday of March 30, 1979. Although we've not communicated in years, learning of his passing was very difficult news. He was a kind, generous, thoughtful, hardworking sole and you could feel all these attributes within minutes of meeting him.

My sincere condolences for your loss.

God bless and keep you, Stork family. We are both shocked and saddened to learn of Ben's loss.
You may be familiar with us because you see us as we drive passed your house and wave, mostly to the boys. We consider ourselves neighbors though, outside of Ben, we've met only one son (briefly), when Ben did a couple of small, side projects at our house. They took only long enough to know how much we appreciated who he was , and how fortunate we were to have crossed paths. Long enough to know what we've now lost. We can only imagine what you are going through. We were unable to make it to the service tonight, but are holding you all up in the light, in comforting, prayer.
Ben, you are missed. Your loss is felt, deeply. Rest peacefully, friend.

Please feel free to reach out.

God bless you Stork family,
Jeremy and Kim Cox, your neighbors

Roy & Sarah, so sorry for your loss. I can't attend the visitation tonight, but wanted to let you know I thought Ben was a great guy. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Griffin and family,
You are in our continuous thoughts and prayers. May God hold you close in this difficult time. We did not know Ben, but in getting to know Griffin, Ben (and Stacy) raised a young man who will make him proud.

With love,
Grace and Michelle Pohl

We are so saddened to learn the news of Ben's passing. We had hired Ben for some landscaping in Waterloo and could not have been more pleased. We were fortunate to meet his Father, Stacy and boys. What a wonderful human being Ben was. We will always remember what a kind, generous person he was. We would have reached out to him had we known he was ill. Please keep your trust in God. Know that others care and we are certainly praying for all who knew and loved Ben. May God bless him. Sending love from Florida.
