Bernard G. Schilling

Bernard G. Schilling, 81, of Waterloo, IL, died May 7, 2026, in Waterloo, IL. He was born February 22, 1945, in Red Bud, IL.

He is survived by his wife Faye Schilling (nee Stahl); children Scott Schilling, Daphne Schilling, Courtney (Mark) Sweeney, Dustin (Hayley) Schilling; grandchildren Nathan Schilling, Austin (Meadow Boden) Sweeney, Alex (Ande Grohmann) Sweeney, Alyssa VanBuren, and Zachary VanBuren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bernard J. and Elizabeth (nee Buss) Schilling; brothers Thomas W. Schilling and Joseph B. Schilling

Bernard was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church - Smithton. He was a retired life long farmer. At his request, his body was donated to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
