Betty A. Lerch, nee Hauptfleisch, 86, of Red Bud, IL, died March 24, 2018, in Waterloo, IL. She was born March 28, 1931, in Waterloo, IL.

She is survived by her children Terrie Thies, Tammy (Dennis) Duffy, Tina Lerch (Mike McCaslin): grandchildren Brandon (Lacy) Duffy, Kyle Duffy, Anna Thies, Maxim McCaslin; & great grandchildren Joshua Cranford, Jacob Cranford, Boden Duffy, Jack Rabe.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Theodore W. Lerch Jr.; parents William G. & Lydia (nee Mueller) Hauptfleisch; brothers Roland Hauptfleisch & Alois Hauptfleisch; & sister Pearl Jaenke.

She is a member of St. John United Church of Christ - Valmeyer, IL, Valmeyer American Legion Auxiliary, Red Bud Regional Hospital Auxiliary, Red Bud Women's Club, & Red Bud Senior Circle.
