Billy Carl King

Billy C. King, 85, of Waterloo, IL, died May 17, 2026, in Waterloo, IL. He was born April 29, 1941, in Blanchard, OK.

     He is survived by his wife Debra Trodus King; step children Candace (Jeff) Biggs, Jonathan (Jen) Schlemmer, and Dennis R. (Christy Edsall) Schlemmer; step grandchildren Joshua (Katie) Biggs, Corey (Kirsten) Biggs, Abigail Biggs, Camden (Gabbi) Biggs, Hannah Biggs, Lilly (Logan) Seidler, Gracie Howdyshell, Allie Schlemmer, and Acadia Schlemmer; step great grandchildren Scarlet Biggs, Noah, twins Jackson and Hudson Biggs, and Blaire and Blaine Biggs.

    Children Robert (Charlene) King, David King, Thomas (Jen) King, and Jeffrey (Anda) King; grandchildren Sean (Bri) King, Sarah King, Steph Lovick, Sam King, Lucas and Kellen King, and Mercedes King; great grandchildren Koen, Jax, and Emberlynn King, Bailey King, Emma Tarat, Bryan, Eliana, Bryana, and Andrew King; and sister Betty King.

     Also surviving are many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Staton and Bessie (nee Sewell) King and brother.

    Billy retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years.

Private burial will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
