C. Glennon "Glennon" Rau, 77, of Columbia, IL, died October 31, 2019, in Red Bud, IL. He was born August 13, 1942, in St. Louis, MO.

Dearest Father of Michelle Mendes, Christopher (Elizabeth) Hoemeke , Michael (Nina) Rau ; loving grandfather of Adrienne, Booker, Thomas, Amy, Charles, Daniel, and Mikayla;  dear brother of David (Pam) Rau and Jennifer (Ed) Sanvi ; cherished uncle of Nathan (Annette), Brady (Jennifer), Tara, great nephew; and nieces. Friend to all.  

Glennon is preceded in death by his parents Cletus and Colette Rau (nee Welsch).

If it were not for you, Glennon Rau, I would not have had this career over the last 30+ years in the legal field -- you had faith in me and hired me to work at your law office with very little experience. I learned so much from you and you were one of the kindest, most caring employers a person could ever ask for! I know God has a special place for you in Heaven; may you rest in peace, Glennon!
