He is survived by daughter Wendy (Edward) Szczuka and son Charlie (Chrissy) R. Eckerty; grandchildren Edward C. Szczuka, Jr and Emily Nicole (Marshall) Pestock and one great grandson George; sister Sonia Kaleb and many nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Chester Ray & Lorena W. (nee Kramer) Eckerty; and sisters Wilma Winternheimer, Doris Mark & Diane Bales.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: American Heart Association or Donor's Choice
