Clarence Louis Sendelbeck

February 6, 1925 — March 5, 2016

Clarence Louis  Sendelbeck, 91, of Waterloo, Illinois, died March 5, 2016, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 6, 1925, in Waterloo, IL, son of the late Leo V. and Anna (nee Amend) Sendelbeck.

    He is survived by his wife Verona I. Sendelbeck (nee Lerch); a son, Thomas C. (Diane) Sendelbeck; a daughter, Karen S. (Kent) Meister; grandchildren, Kelly and Lauren Sendelbeck, Kate (Tanner) Springer, and Eric Meister, and three great grandchildren, Deacon, Ryker, and Caylum Springer; sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

    He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Dorothy Reh; three brothers, Leo J., Paul, & Jack Sendelbeck; sisters-in-law; and brothers-in-law.

    Clarence was a retired electrician, a member of SS Peter & Paul Church in Waterloo, IL, Columbia RC Flying Club, and Academy of Model Aeronautics. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II.

    4 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Quernheim Funeral Home
    8 AM until 9:30 AM Wednesday 

Funeral Mass:
    10 AM Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at SS Peter & Paul Church in Waterloo, IL
        Father Don Blaes officiating
    Interment at St. John Cemetery in Valmeyer, IL
