David Ronald Stevens

David Ronald Stevens, 63, of Belleville, IL, died May 2, 2026, in Waterloo, IL. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI to Ronald Walter Stevens and Eleanor (nee Palmer) Stevens on June 6th of 1962.

David is survived by his two sons James Stevens and Charles Stevens, two Grandchildren, one brother, five sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

David joined the US Air Force in 1980 and retired from the Military in 2007. After 27 years of active duty, he retired and enjoyed a life of hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. Dave knew everything about hunting and fishing. If there was any doubt about that, all you had to do was ask him.

We would like to thank the staff at Garden Place of Columbia for their loving care during David’s stay with them. We would also like to thank Vitas Hospice for their compassionate and sincere loving care of David.

Per David's wishes, no funeral services will be held. A celebration of life will be scheduled in his home town at a later date.
