Dennis C. McMillan, 80, of Waterloo, IL, died October 16, 2025, in Waterloo, IL. He was born June 23, 1945, in St. Louis, MO.

He is survived by his wife Mary E. McMillan (nee Mattox); daughter Sherrie (David Peppers) McMillan; granddaughter Renee Peppers; brother Michael (Nancy) McMillan; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents Oliver Burr and Elva Magdalena (nee Jenkins) McMillan Jr.; son Tony McMillan; and brother Patrick McMillan.

Dennis was a retired locomotive engineer at Terminal Railroad Association. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Missouri Mycological Society. Dennis was also a very avid mushroom hunter.
