Dorothy Jehling

Dorothy  A.  Jehling nee Reichert, 81, of Waterloo, IL, died January 31, 2017, in St. Louis, MO. She was born September 5, 1935, in Sugarloaf Township, IL.

    She is survived by her children Donna Howard, Wanda (Glenn) Schewe, and Pamela Jehling; grandchildren Angela (Chris) Wellen, Scott (Katie) Schewe, Kelly Hoffmann, and Taylor Hoffmann; great grandchildren Brianna Thompson, Hannah Thompson, Jada Cover, Cameron Wellen, Victoria Wellen, Ilsa Schewe, & Iris Shewe; sister Bernice (Tom) Wightman; lifetime friend Carmelita Buss; nieces; nephews; & cousins; pets Lucy, Maggie, and Boots.

    She is preceded in death by her husband Henry W. Jehling Jr., parents Joseph A. & Louisa (nee Menner) Reichert, sisters Aurelia (Lorenz) Thoma, Marcella Spitz, brother Vernon Herrman, sister-in-law & brother-in-law Paul & Dorothy Sendelbeck.

    Dorothy was a member of Monroe County Home Extension, avid shopper, and loved animals.
