Dylan Timothy Roy

Dylan Timothy Roy, 29, of Red Bud, IL, died July 18, 2026, in St. Louis, MO. He was born May 14, 1997, in Kirkwood, MO.

He is survived by his son Dakota Roy; parents Tim and Christine Roy; brother Devin Roy; and friend Trysta Guebert.

Dylan is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Harry and Elaine Marquardt nee Cowell and his paternal grandfather Lavern Roy.

He was an avid hunter, enjoyed farming, had excellent mechanical skills, and loved being a dad to his ‘Lil Man’. He always lent a helping hand when someone would call. In his spare time, you could find him with family and friends enjoying a cold beer.

4 PM to 8 PM Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, IL

Private interment will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Red Bud, IL

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
