Elizabeth A. McAllister

Elizabeth McAllister, nee Kern, 55, of Belleville, IL, passed away Friday November 21, 2025, in St. Louis, MO. She was born July 11, 1970, in Belleville, IL.

She is survived by her children Nathan (Lisa) Kern, Andrew (Tamyra) Kern, and Jacob (Salem) Kern; grandchildren Gracen and Peyton Kern, and Isabella Kern; stepchildren Brittney, Scott, Andrew, and Jacob McAllister; step grandchild Marissa Elledge; siblings Allen (Rosalie) Kern, Michael Kern, and Ruthann (Ken) Myers; brother-in-law Dean Armbrecht; nieces; nephews; cousins; best friend Kimberley Kuni; and close like a son Tyre'k Darty.

She is preceded in death by her husband Scott McAllister; parents Clifford W. and Arline M. (nee Gummersheimer) Kern; sister Ellen Armbrecht; and sister-in-law Kathy Kern.

Liz was an Army Reservist. She served for 6 years before coming home and working at a few fast-food establishments, but mostly at the McDonalds food industry in different locations as a swing manager. She enjoyed getting together with family and getting a game of cards (especially pinocle) started. She enjoyed bingo, helping at family reunions, but her biggest joy of her life was her children and grandchildren. She absolutely adored spending time with the grandkids. She will be missed by many.
