Ellen J. Marshall, nee O'Connell, 83, of Waterloo, IL, died October 20, 2026, in Red Bud, IL. She was born February 1, 1943, in Waterloo, IL.
She is survived by her husband Robert Marshall; children Sally A. (Kristopher) Stephens, Jennifer E. (Brent) Kaniecki, and Douglas A. (Carla) Marshall; grandchildren Kaitlyn Krinninger, Drew Marshall, Hillary Kaniecki, Brady Marshall, Sydney Stephens, Jane Kaniecki, and Alexis Stephens; special friend Evan Gray; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents John D. and Mary Ellen O'Connell (nee King); 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Ellen was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and a partner in hope with St. Jude.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to:

Interment will follow at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Waterloo, IL
