Dear Connie. I just learned of your mothers death. I wish for you and your family many warm and happy memories of a spirited woman.

Although distant cousins, we still had some interesting conversations when she was my teacher. She was the first to encourage me to hit the books hard because she thought I had real potential in the class ranking. She proved to be right. My thoughts are with Connie and her family.
