Ervin W. Menke, 83, of Columbia, IL, died October 6, 2015, in St. Louis, MO. He was born September 16, 1932, in Fults, IL.

He is survived by his wife Donna K. Menke (nee Pflueger); children Teresa Rusteberg, Patricia (Wayne) Killingsworth, Michelle (Randy) Gummersheimer, Dawn (Kraig) Kelley; 12 grandchildren David (Amanda) Rusteberg, Rebecca (Bill) Huddleston, Arthur (Julie) Rusteberg, Anthony (Bridget) Killingsworth, Joshua (Kristin) Killingsworth, Crystal Killingsworth, Dianna Killingsworth, Jordan Killingsworth, Madelyn Gummersheimer, Makayla Gummersheimer, Ian Kelley, & Abigail Kelley; 12 great grandchildren; sister and brothers Shirley Williams, Orville (Beverly) Menke, Robert (Mildred) Menke, and Larry (Reba) Menke; sister-in-law Shirley Menke; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents the late Herman P. and Catherine (nee Schmidt) Menke, daughters Diane & Donna Menke, grandson Carter William Gummersheimer, brother Vernon Menke, & uncle Elmer Schmidt.

Visitation will be at Quernheim Funeral Home from 4 PM to 8 PM Thursday October 8, 2015 and at St. Paul United Church of Christ Floraville, IL from 9 AM until time of service Friday.

Funeral will be at 10 AM Friday October 9, 2015 at St. Paul United Church of Christ Floraville, IL with Pastor Matt Friz officiating and burial will be at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo, IL.

Ervin was a member of St. Paul UCC - Floraville, US Army Veteran, & owner of Menke Builders.
