Esther W. Boehne nee Studt, 96, of Waterloo, IL, died June 27, 2015 in Waterloo, IL. She was born September 5, 1918 in DeWitt Co., IL.

She is survived by her children Bernell Buettner & Gerald (Cynthia) Boehne, grandchildren Lyla Clark, Dale (Leslie) Buettner, Carla (Matt) Carter, Melissa (Billy) Pind, & Ashley (Walter) Jackson, great grandchildren Darren Clark, William & Ryan Carter, Cadence & Karsen Pind, Mackenzie, Kaylin, Callie Mae, & Colette Jackson, great great grandchild Sierra Clark, brother Elijah Summers, sister-in-law Marcella Boehne, nieces, nephews, & cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Martin & Wilhelmine (nee Boehne) Studt, husband Raymond G. Boehne, son-in-law Donald L. Buettner, grandchild Lynn Buettner (in infancy), brothers & sisters.

Visitation will be at Quernheim Funeral Home from 4 PM to 8 PM Sunday June 28, 2015 and at Holy Cross Lutheran Church from 10 AM until time of service Monday.

Funeral will be at 11 AM Monday June 29, 2015 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church Wartburg, IL with Pastor Daniel Ostlund officiating and burial will be at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Wartburg, IL.

Esther was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church - Wartburg, Ladies Aid.
