Esther D. Muertz, nee Rippelmeyer, 91, of Waterloo, IL, died December 1, 2025, in St. Louis, MO. She was born October 23, 1934, in Harrisonville, IL.

She is survived by her children Michael (Linda) Mueller and Kathy (Joe) Trankle; daughter-in-law Theresa Mueller; grandchildren; and great grandchildren; sister-in-law Shirley Rippelmeyer; sister Loretta Rodenberg; nieces; nephews; and cousins.She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Orvis F. Mueller; 2nd husband Theodore J. Muertz; son Bruce A. Mueller; parents Albert August & Katherine (nee Illert) Rippelmeyer; sisters Ethel Luehring, Mildred Meyer, and Florence Jaenke; and brothers Milton, Paul, George, & Herman Rippelmeyer.She was a member of St. Paul UCC in Waterloo.
