Fern Elizabeth Wilder, nee Boyd, 86, of Waterloo, IL, died June 20, 2025, in Waterloo, IL. She was born September 6, 1938, in St. Louis, MO.

She is survived by her children Karen (Kevin) Powers, Kevin D. Wilder, Kendall (Paula) Wilder, and Kirt Wilder; grandchildren Michelle Huffman, Michael Buchanan, Micaela (Curtis) Lambert, Alexis (Ryan) Wilson, Kyle Wilder, Elizabeth Wilder, Syvana Wilder, Stephanie Hummel, Curtis Hummel, Kevin Hummel, and Kindra (Brandon) Warning; great grandchildren Hunter, River, Beau, Paul, Simon, Benjamin, Lilah, Jaxyn, and Natasha; sister Louise Baumbach; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Kevin Lee Wilder; son Kristopher Wilder; parents Tillman and Dora (nee Gibson) Boyd; sisters Velma Boyd, Esther Boyd, Ruth Baumbach, and Orah Campbell; brothers Hughie Boyd and James (Karen) Boyd; son-in-law George A. Buchanan.

Fern is a member of Restoration Chapel in Waterloo, IL and was a Sunday school teacher at various churches for over 50 years. She loved family and church dinners and traveling.
