Floyd Raymond Posey, 84, of Waterloo, IL, died April 5, 2026, in Columbia, IL. He was born August 2, 1941, in Tuscumbia, AL.
He is survived by his children Rachel (Brian) McKelvey and Douglas (Latasha) Posey; grandchildren Johnathan (Hayley) Collette, Dylan Collette, Austin Posey, Lilly Posey, Mckenzie McKelvey, and Jacob Posey; great grandchild Lilah Collette; sisters Dessie Prince, and Joyce Posey Guebert; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents John Buck and Susie Lillian (nee Pounders) Posey; brothers Freeman, Leeman, Truman, Butch, Numon, and William "Bill" Posey; sisters Ernestine Myhan, Glenda Byrd, Ilene Vandiver, and Linda Sue Wayland.
