Floyd "Wayne" W. Cope

Floyd W. "Wayne" Cope, 71, of Waterloo, IL, died August 23, 2020, in Waterloo, IL. He was born September 17, 1948, in St. Louis, MO.

He is survived by his wife Annabelle Bollinger (nee Walker); son Aaron (Stefanie) Cope; grandson Ian Matzenbacher; brother David (Rattana) Cope; sister Carolyn Cope; sister-in-law Donna Burdette; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Cope, parents Floyd & Wilma (nee Rice) Cope, and brothers Bob and Kenny Cope.

Wayne was a member of SS Peter and Paul Church - Waterloo, Eagles of Arnold, MO, retired from Carpenters Local #2214 - Festus, and enjoyed bass fishing, horse racing, and gambling.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: 
American Cancer Society or American Heart Association

Im so sorry to hear of Waynes passing. He was like an uncle to me. I can still hear him saying Jeanne Kay, I used to change your diapers! He used to make sure any boy I brought around knew it too. I was blessed to have him in my life.
