Fred H. Wiegand, 75, of Red Bud, IL, died August 19, 2018, at Memorial Hospital after a brief illness with cancer, in Belleville, IL. He was born May 29, 1943, in Belleville, IL.
He is survived by his wife Joan A. Wiegand nee Stellhorn; children Gregory (Melissa) Wiegand, Christine (John) Sims, & Brett Wiegand; grandchildren Alexandria & Riley Sims and Gwendolyn & Mackenzie Wiegand; sister Willa Mae (Robert) Prange; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fred M. and Dorothy C. (nee Kleber) Wiegand Sr.
Fred was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church - Red Bud, IL; Waterloo School Board (12 years), various county committees, River Road Cruisers, and farmer & owner of Wiegand Truck Service. He enjoyed fishing and working outdoors.
