My heart goes out to the family & friends of Gelea. She was a wonderful lady...

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom. My family lived two doors down on Mill Street. She was
such a beauty and a wonderful mom. She seemed to do it all with grace and class. I am so sorry.

So sorry to learn of Gelea's death. Ibecame acquainted withher while I worked for the Waterloo School District 1993-1999. I found her to be a very pleasantperson and dedicated teacher. She had both an inward and outward beauty, and always shared a warm smile upon meeting her.I thank her for her dedicated years of service to the young people she taught and came into contact with.

Mrs. Speck was one of the best teachers I had at Waterloo High School, and working with her on the school newspaper for most of my high school career was one of my best experiences at learning to work on deadline and under pressure. Our condolences to her family on her passing.
