Georgia, Judy, Janette and I called ourselves " The four hoods" after Sister Jeanette called us hoodlums when we , as seniors, skipped school to go to St. Louis on the bus to see a movie. Georgia's mother even made us hoods to wear! What fun we had, as Georgia drove us around in her old Fliver and we pitched in quarters for gas. Oh to be that young again with such wonderful friends. Precious memories with an exceptional girl! My heart is sad. My condolences to Georgia,s family

You and Mom can talk about all the fun and great times you shared-Fairyland Park, Waterloo celebrations, etc. We will miss you here but oh so good to reunite with all your loved ones.

All of my heartfelt condolences to you all. No matter how old, or how sick, one never has enough time for those we love. May the good memories of Georgie fill your hearts and soothe your loss. Much love to you all in this difficult time and always. Janice (Hellmer) Augustine

To the Dugan and Fries families, and all who knew and loved her, when I was little I admired Georgia so much. I wanted to be an astronaut and/or a racecar driver. We just didn't have many woman role models at that time, in Waterloo or anywhere for that matter. Ms. Georgia let me wash the car windows at Texaco, even though she went behind me to get the spots and squeegee.
She let me watch her pump gas and check the air in the tires and check under the hood.
She wore tiny gold hoop earrings and I would see her at mass and marvel at her out of her green uniform. She was one of my heroes. Such a kind lady.
Please accept my condolences.
