Gerald J. Young, 77, of Waterloo, IL, died August 18, 2020, in Streator, IL. He was born November 22, 1942, in Belleville, IL.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Young (nee Asbury); son Michael (Wendi) Young; daughter-in-law Nancy Young; grandchildren Amanda (Michael) Badger, Cody, and Kyle (Liz) Young, Tyler (Rachel) Young, and Emma (Nic) Starner; 4 great grandchildren; sister Donna (Max) Tinsman; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Gerald is preceded in death by his son Gregory A. Young; parents Joseph Michael & Pauline (nee Bert) Young; and brother David Young.
He is a member of First Baptist Church - Columbia, IL, retired City of Belleville firefighter, avid woodworker and stained glass maker.
