Gina Marie Birrittier

Gina Marie Birrittier, nee Hagemeier, 58, of Waterloo, IL, died April 30, 2026, in St. Louis, MO. She was born May 27, 1967, in Hillsboro, IL.

She is survived by her husband Dominic J. Birrittier Jr.; children Miranda (Eric) Schmidt and Joseph (Lexi) Birrittier; grandchildren Kelsey Schmidt, Wade Schmidt, and Baby Boy Birrittier (expected to be born in July); mother Dorothy Hagemeier; sisters Michelle (Glenn) Petersen and Tammy (Mark) Bertolino; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Carroll Hagemeier.

Gina was a Seed Rep for Bayer Crop Sciences. She was involved in various activities and committees with Immanuel Lutheran Church, and active in Waterloo FFA Alumni. Gina enjoyed relaxing at her pool and going to any beach. She completed several half marathons and other running events. She enjoyed reading her Kindle; watching the Cardinals and the Blues; meals at Bean Tree Cafe; and cuddling their dog Rosey. She will be remembered for the wisdom, kindness, faith, and love she instilled to her family and friends.
