Guestbook

It was a sorrowful moment to read the news of Harolds passing! He was a wonderful companion to Roseanne and a great friend to many including myself.
During his stay at Garden Place in Waterloo he brought lots of smiles and laughter to those who knew him well! He was an avid Cardinal fan but also liked to watch the football & basketball games on rv on the weekends. Hearolds favorite passion was putting puzzles together, which all of the ones in the GP activity room walls are his handiwork along with anyone he could convince to help him work on!
Nurse Mindy was one such friend who knew how to get a grin from Harold every day she was working!
As for myself, he referred to me as the Horn girl because he was as devoted fisherman who frequented my mothers bait shop on South Main St.
Harold lost a special lady friend shortly after he moved into Garden Place but within time Roseann joined us and his spirits began to lift stein. It was quite comical listening to the two of them digger and joke around. You could tell she had a special place for her in his heart! One could only imagine he lived to digger the same way with his wife, Barbara.
It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to our dear friend but now hes wife Barbara, Mike and Esther, and theyll have to help him with his heavenly puzzles! My condolences to Dennie, Carl, Ellen and Lillian. Heaven has geined a special angel!

I am blessed to have Harry as my Uncle. You could always count on solid advice from Uncle Harry when fishing, cleaning fish, making sausage or many of the activities we liked to do as a family. Above all, Harry had fun and loved to laugh. He will be truly missed.
