James L. Richards, 86, of Waterloo, IL, died July 26, 2026, in Waterloo, IL. He was born April 1, 1940, in Sank, MO.
He is survived by his wife Mary Kay Richards; son Michael (Sharon) Richards and Tim (Kelly) Richards; daughter Jacqueline (Deane) Kocher; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 4 sisters; and Fuzzy.
James is preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Thelma Richards nee Garner; and a brother.
He was a member of St. Paul UCC Floraville, IL and American Legion Post #901.
