Jill A. Nance

Jill A. Nance, 60, of Plainfield, IL (previously Waterloo, IL), peacefully passed and went to be with Jesus in her heavenly home on July 13, 2025. She was born September 25, 1964, in Belleville, IL to Numon “Pete” and Leona Jean Posey.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband David Nance whom she married on December 20, 1989 in St. Louis, MO; daughters Brittany (Tyler) Miller, Bethany (Ben) Gunn, Mariah (John) Silvestry, Serena (Adam) Honaker; son David (Sandi) Nance; grandchildren Kaley Hardie, Gryphon Deffenbaugh, Ethan Miller, Posie Wetzel, Emeric Wetzel, Donovan Miller, Ignatius Muehleisen, Lincoln Silvestry, Judah Silvestry, Rhema Silvestry; sisters Pamela Margalski, Dawn Harris, Michelle Posey, Pam Alexander, Sherrie Pearse; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rejoicing with her in Heaven are her parents Numon “Pete” and Leona Jean Posey; brother Bruce Posey; children Travis and Carissa Nance; and grandchildren Asher and Vaughn Wetzel.

Jill devoted her life to serving Jesus and sacrificially caring for her family. She walked in generosity, love, and joy and shared the love of Jesus everywhere she went. She lived her everyday life as if she were on a mission trip, putting others first and sharing the good news of Jesus.

Everyone who met her was touched by her light, but her family was exceptionally blessed by her unconditional love!
