Jimmie R. "Big Jim" Hoggard, 75, of Waterloo, Illinois, died September 9, 2016, in Belleville, IL. He was born July 14, 1941, in Rector, AR.

    He is survived by his children Karen Sue (Larry) Offermann, Mary Ann (Andy) Broadhurst, Monica Lea Owens, & Jimmie Ray Hoggard; special friend Ethel Stumpf; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

    He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane Hoggard (nee Ebersohl); parents Judie Venon & Lela (nee Monroe) Hoggard; sister Shirley Mills; & brothers Wendel, Joe, & J.W. Hoggard; daughter-in-law Renee Hoggard nee Menke.

    Jimmie played music for assisted living and nursing homes
