John W. Bollinger, 75, of Waterloo, IL, died November 19, 2021, in St. Louis, MO. He was born October 2, 1946, in Red Bud, IL.


He is survived by his children Sarah Desai, Rachel Simshauser, and Jason (Elizabeth Murphy) Bollinger; grandchildren Cameron Simshauser, Liam Desai, and Aidan Desai; sister Carol (Carl) Gatlin; longtime partner Adrienne Grossman; nieces; nephew; and cousins.


He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond O. & Catherine (nee Hempe) Bollinger.


John was a US Army Veteran, a trivia buff, he enjoyed fishing, and was a lover of life.

Funeral:
6 PM Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, IL


Interment:
A procession will be leaving Quernheim Funeral Home Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 10:15 AM for an 11 AM Graveside Service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO
