John Lee Poetker

John Lee Poetker , 69, of Waterloo, IL, died June 2, 2015 in St. Louis, MO. He was born October 22, 1945 in Belleville, IL.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters Mary Poetker, David Poetker, Carol (Tom) Noelke, Dale (Alecia) Poetker, Karen (Jim) Vogt, Curt Poetker, & Kevin Poetker, nieces & nephews Jonathan (Pam) Poetker, Andrew (Laura) Noelke, & Victoria and Clint Vogt, great nieces & nephews Akenna, Brexton, and Chylee Poetker, Mason Noelke, & Madison Hankammer, aunts, uncles, and many friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Martha L. (nee Brinkmann) Poetker.

Visitation will be at Quernheim Funeral Home from 2 PM to 8 PM Thursday June 4, 2015 and from 8 AM to 10:15 AM Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM Friday June 5, 2015 at St. Michael’s Church - Paderborn, IL with Father Stan Konieczny officiating and burial will be at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery in Waterloo, IL.

John was a life long dairy farmer, member of St. Michael's Church - Paderborn, IL, Road District #2 clerk (40 years), Dairy Farmers of America, NFO.
