He is survived by his sister Marjorie Bottiaux; nephew Steve (Carol) Degener; niece Sandy Pinson; great nieces; and great nephews; 2 great great nieces; and cousins.
Jules is preceded in death by his parents George P. & Freida K. (nee Hoffmann) Werling Sr.; sisters Geraldine Krause and twin sister June Degener; and brothers George Werling Jr. and Nelson W. "Buck" Werling.
He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ - Waterloo.
