Loretta G. Hudson, nee Dickerson, 90, of Waterloo, IL, died January 25, 2026, in St. Louis, MO. She was born July 16, 1935, in Banner, MO.

She is survived by her children Dawn Ritzel; grandchildren Julie (Arthur) Juelfs, Steve (Amanda) Braun, & Timothy Bievenue (Amber); 2 great grandchildren Wyatt and Clayton; sister-in-law Hazel Dickerson; nieces; nephews; and cousins.She is preced in death by her husband Melvin L. Rettinghouse; parents Walter & Della (nee Harbison) Dickerson; daughter Catherine Braun; son Melvin E. Rettinghouse; son-in-law Stephen Braun; sisters; and brothers.

Loretta was a lifetime member of Waterloo VFW Auxiliary and volunteer at Western Egyptian for 23 years.
