Lucy was a wonderful helper with youth work at St. Paul UCC Waterloo for many years. She also chaperoned many youth trips to Shannondale with me. She was a selfless servant of the Lord and I will never forget her. Pastor Fred Wehrenberg

Lucy was just a wonderful caring co-worker for me at Southwestern Illinois College. She was always so helpful and so very personable. You could always count on Lucy to get the job done quickly and correctly. But most of all I remember her kindness in our hallway conversations. My sympathies to Becky and to Edgar, one of my Radiologic Technology graduates, and the entire Van Scoyk family.

I have always remembered her as being so kind when I've seen her years ago @ St. Paul UCC. RIP sweet Lucille

Lucy was such a kind, caring person. She was always one to volunteer to help anyone. My fond memories of Lucy are from her work days at Southwestern Illinois College. She always had a smile for each person she met. I enjoyed hearing about her grandchildren. She loved her family so much.

Please accept my sympathy. Keeping you in my prayers.

Lucy was one of the few left who went all thru school with me starting with Miss Durfee. She attended our monthly breakfast "reunions" as long as she was able. I remember her coming to my house for my 6th birthday. May have been more than that, but that is the one I remember from pictures at least. RIP Lucy!!!
