Thad and Courtney, I am so sadden by the news of your mother's passing. She and I were the best of friends when we were young married couples. She was like a sister to me. we had so many good times together when you kids were so young. We shared lots of good times together.... and when we would talk on the phone, no matter how much time had passed, we could pick right up where we left off. I knew I could always get the best advice from her. I called her " my wise friend". I can still hear her laugh when I think of her. And I was just going to call her on her birthday (which we usually talk then for sure). I just can't believe that I will not be able to do that ever again. Know that I will be thinking of you on the day of her memorial service and the many months to follow. God is with you at this time of sorrow and He is there always as you know. I would love to hear from either one or both of you sometime when you can talk or email me. Phone number. 317-473-0219. I am in Arizona for the winter. Love you both, And I loved your Mom too! She will always be my treasured friend.
