Margaret J. Erwin, nee Lessen, 97, of Waterloo, IL, died April 17, 2023, in Waterloo, IL. She was born January 29, 1926, in Belleville, IL.

    She is survived by her nieces, nephews, and friends Nancy "Boo" Prather and Carmen Kohler.

    Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Leonard A. Erwin; parents Joseph William and Mabel Lessen nee Burns; and sisters Billie Blim and Charlotte Hamel.

    She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Belleville, IL and Eastern Star.
