Marie M. Yount, nee Dickneite, 97, of Waterloo, IL, died November 16, 2022, in Waterloo, IL. She was born May 10, 1925, in Harrisonville, IL.

    She is survived by her daughter Cherie Horschman; grandchildren Michael (Sherri) Yount, Paul Horschman, and Sarah Horschman; great grandchildren Dalton Yount, Hayden Leiber, and Taylor (April) Martain; sisters Eileen Goldschmidt, and Elsie Branson; sisters-in-law Gerry Dickneite, Frances Dickneite, Polly Dickneite; brother-in-law Raymond (Shirley) Shoemaker; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

    Marie is preceded in death by her husband Herschel F. Yount; son James Yount; parents Benjamin and Elnora (nee Engel) Dickneite; son-in-law Arthur H. Horschman; sisters Rosemary Hergenroeder, Bernadine Heider, Dorothy Shoemaker, Leona Burkhardt, Catherine Gilbert, and Emma Diemert; brothers Ben Jr., Raymond, Sylvester, George, and David (in infancy) Dickneite.

    She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Church.
