Dear Gerry and Family; friends like you and Norma come along once in a lifetime. Mother was so lucky to have found you at the time in her life that she needed you most. You helped her through some really rough times, times I should have been there but wasn't and I want you to know how much I appreciated the two of you. You and Norma were so generous with your time, so patient when Mom involved you in her troubles, and I'm most grateful that I never heard a word of criticism from either of you for my short comings. Mom loved the two of you like family and you treated her like family. It's hard to believe they're both gone from us, but I firmly believe they are together now. All of God's blessings to you, Gerry, and the family as you travel this rough road.

Both Norma and Gerald were the best of friends to my grandmother, Joann Rehmer.
They helped her survive my grandfathers death and made sure she could still go camping and have a social life.
As long as I can remember Norma was someone my grandmother spoke about and always smiled when doing so.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was truly a sweet, wonderful women.
