Patricia J. Bateman, nee Oder, 94, of Smithton, IL, died October 1, 2026, in Belleville, IL. She was born November 11, 1931, in E. St. Louis, IL.
She is survived by her children Carol (Curtis) Highsmith, and Deborah (John) Bateman; grandchildren Jennifer, James, Christa, and Chad; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil O. Bateman; daughter Jenita (Stuart) Kaye; parents Earl and Lenora Jane (nee Waldon) Pailsey.
