Phillip S. Garnto, 82, of Waterloo, IL, died August 20, 2024, in Waterloo , IL. He was born September 15, 1941, in Wrightsville, GA.
He is survived by his wife Shirley K. Garnto (nee Renner); children Ryan (Debbie) Garnto, Debra Cary, Jennifer (Joseph) Jones, Jill (Gregory) Engel, and Michael (Margaret) Klein; grandchildren; brothers and sisters Danny Garnto, Derrell Garnto, Brylyn (Jimmy) Sumner, and Bonnie (Tim) Tanner; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Horace and Mary Lou (nee Ivey) Garnto; mother of his children Theresa (Chee-Chee) Garnto; sister Jackie Brown; and daughter Theresa Klein.
Phillip retired from McDonnell Douglas and was the owner of Anchor Realty in Ferguson, Missouri.
