Raymond A. Frame Jr.

Raymond A. Frame Jr., 48, of Columbia, IL, died June 25, 2024, in St. Louis, MO. He was born April 21, 1976, in Belleville, IL.

    Ray is survived by his loving wife, of 22 years, Jennifer M. Frame (nee Hastings); children Blake Andrew and Haley Mae Frame; parents Raymond A. Frame Sr. and LeAnn C. Alexander (Randy Rehmer); sisters Nicole Range, Stacey Dalton, Tracey (Patrick) Ahrens, Rachel Frame, Ashley (Tim) Whatley, Jenna and Jesse Rehmer, and Devon (Jason) O’Hara; mother-in-law and father-in-law Janice and Allan Keim; grandparents Betty Wolz and Maretta Rehmer; and brother-in-law Brian (Amber) Blevins; several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

    He is preceded in death by his sister Lisa D. Frame and grandparents Jean and John Frame, Iva and Hobert Barman, Joel Blanchard, Robert Wolz, John J. Woods; and uncle Steven M. Frame.

    Ray was an educated Certified HVAC Maintenance Technical Engineer who was employed by the Columbia Community Unit School District #4 maintaining all four schools for the last 10 years and recently was awarded a Certificate of Achievement for his dedicated service of a job well done. He is a current member of the National Education Association and the Illinois Education Association. He was a former member of the Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 36. He was an avid gun and knife collector who enjoyed four wheeling and dirt bike riding and was a history fanatic. Ray was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed being with his family and was a great guy known by all who would help others as much as he could. He was a very knowledgable and experienced handy man.

 As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the family.
