He held a passion toward the study and history of Viking and Norse mythology, along with weaponry of all kinds, even in his later years designing and building the same to gift to his loved ones. He loved a good action movie and Anime which he shared with his granddaughter. He never missed watching the evening world news or relaxing in the simple peace of a beautiful sunset on his farm.
