Robert Lee Dix, 88, of Waterloo, IL, died October 1, 2015, in Belleville, IL. He was born December 16, 1926, in Esther, MO.

 

He is survived by his children Steven (Cheryl) Dix and Tina Lautz; grandchildren Jamye (Michael) LaFollette, Jason (Shae) Dix, Christopher (Michelle) Martin, Ryan (Angela) Martin, and William Martin; great grandchildren ; sister Mary; nieces, nephews, & cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents Claude & Golda Mae (nee Stone) Dix, wife Ruby June Dix nee Montgomery, brother Bill Dix, sisters Carrie, Dorothy, Adabelle, Vaughn, & Eva.

 

Visitation will be at Quernheim Funeral Home from 2 PM to 7 PM Sunday October 4, 2015 and at First Baptist Church Waterloo, IL 9 AM until time of service Monday.

 

Funeral will be at 10 AM Monday October 5, 2015 at First Baptist Church Waterloo, IL with Pastor Steve Neill officiating and burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.

 

Robert was a member of First Baptist Church, former Terminal Railroad employee, & US Army Veteran (WWII).
