Robert L. Hoffmann

Robert L. Hoffmann, 74, of Waterloo, IL, died June 6, 2026, in Freeburg, IL. He was born April 16, 1952, in Red Bud, IL. 

He is survived by his wife Marilyn Hoffmann nee Ecker; children Kelly (Bob Bingham) Hoffmann, Charity (Dominique Cavilier) Cotton, and Andrew Bagsby; grandchildren Aniesa (Clenard) Chillers, Brianna Thompson, Jaycee Cotton (Braeden Stoakes), Hannah Thompson, and Jada Cover; great grandchildren Phoenix Bagsby and Eloiza Bagsby; brother Gene (Diane) Hoffmann; sisters-in-law Joy Hoffmann and Beverly Haag; uncle Don Weber; nieces, nephews; and cousins. 

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Norman F. and Doreen (nee Weber) Hoffmann; brother Ronald “Curly” Hoffmann.

He was a member of the Floraville Grange, avid hunter, fisherman, and gardner. Also enjoyed being a prankster.
