Roger Cortner, 82, of Waterloo, IL, died April 10, 2026, in Freeburg, IL. He was born May 13, 1943, in Belleville, IL.
He is survived by his children Brian (Jeanette) Cortner and Denise (Chris) Rennegarbe; grandchildren Elizabeth Davis, Emily Cortner, Tricia, Megan, and Madisyn Rennegarbe; sisters Charlotte (Bob) Main and Ethel Mae Kreher; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Roger was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Cortner nee Brenning; daughter Tricia Cortner; and parents Jerome and Lorena (nee Neff) Cortner.
He was a member of St. Augustine Church in Hecker, IL and Knights of Columbus #11691.
