Guestbook

Vicki - I was so sorry to hear about Roger. My husband passed away the same way only a lot younger. It is such a shock but easier for them. He was such a great guy. You have wonderful memories of him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

A few weeks ago I met with Roger while taking some pictures that our underwriters had requested. My new job requires a lot of knowledge about Farms and Farm Operations. I don't know a lot about Farming and I said to him "I know we're not supposed to admit that we don't know a lot about these things. But I don't have to say that...you know it". He laughed and said "that's okay, we will get you through it, just tell me what you need". He didn't have any obligation to "help me", he could have just gone on with his work and let me figure it out, and learn it as I went along. But that's not who he was.
As I think about that brief meeting, I hope that's something that I can take with me in my life. "Be someone who is willing to help whenever and wherever help is needed"
